There are a variety of games with "2048" in their name, or with tiles showing powers of two up to 2048.  On some of them, the tiles drop down and match to multiply to the next highest number.  On others, the numbers are just decoration and you slide or match blocks for whatever reason.  The "classic" 2048 puzzle is a 4x4 grid where when you slide up, down, right or left, ALL tiles slide as far as they can go in that direction and double up where there's a match. That makes for a really interesting feel, where every time you try to match one pair of tiles (or even line them up) all the other tiles move as well.  But I find that with just a moment's thought before each move, I can keep on doubling and reach the 2048 about 75% of the time, even on a 5x5 or 6x6 board.  Both apps I have been playing let you continue past 2048. Card Crawl only has a few quests listed, but they are hard to pull off. Getting your character to 25hp would require a few ability cards. I have gotten mobs up to 20hp with the Faith card that doubles the next 3 cards. Win 10 games with 20hp left sounds impossible. The one I find interesting is the challenge to win 10 games without using ability cards. I just spent all those short sessions trying to complete that tower of ability cards, only to have to discard them all as soon as they come up. While I win 75% of the regular games, I have only won about 1 in 20 of these challenge attempts. It feels like removing the ability cards leaves a little imbalance in monster cards versus defenses, but it's very close. I tend to lose by only 1-3 hp each time. After a few more tries, I decided that if there are 7 or less cards to beat, and it looks like it's not going to work out, I will start using ability cards. I got to Level 100 and I can see why there are so few players above that level ... Level 101 requires 99280 xp, which is about 20,000 chests. The tasks/quests button now goes away, so there is no next goal. I was not expecting that. I figrued there would always be some other task in that series. The task button has been replaced by the Hunting icon, an event I can't even participcate in since it only runs during 9-5 work hours. I game itself updated from 1.0.6.2 to 1.0.7.1 but I saw no visual changes. Though in the new version, the auto fishing got stuck a few and I had to restart the app. At Level 100, the only thing I saw that unlocked was the Peak Arena, and I have 10 red tickets somehow. Maybe it starts you with those. The Peak Arena is mostly the same as the regular Arena but only for players level 100+ so now I'm the weakest guy again. I'm not sure the point of it, although winning in there is the only way to get the crimson feathers to empower the wings. I
