Chest Hero Part 7 - Automating the Chest & Fishing

It turns out that the chest clicking can be automated.  Click the gear icon under the chest.  If you choose "Rare or higher" from the top list, it will stop the automation to let you choose what to with items of those tiers, while auto-selling lesser items.  You can choose specific battle modifiers as well.  Then hit the Start button.  The chest will now automatically run through items, and when one that meets your criteria comes up it says "Chest Sprite stopped" and lets you click to examine the item as usual.  I like this mode better than manually clicking -- you get to see the actual items pop out of the chest.

Note that the automated chest works in the background, so you can let it cycle through the items while you are on other screens doing other tasks.

Boy, that would have saved a lot of time, if I had known about it sooner.  But some of those featurs unlock at specific chest levels, so it might not have been available until the last few levels anyway.  I just got to level 68 thus way.  I have 1018 chests left, and will let it run through to level 70 and see what else unlocks.

To get from the start of level 68 to 70 by automation took about 10 minutes, and I'm down to 617 chests.  Pretty painless.  

Dungeons: Hunting and Dungeons: Ocean Trade have unlocked.
Other: Knights Handbook, I can complete Iron Knight and move up to Bronze Knight, whose goals are: Chest Level 12, Player level 100, 5 gems inlayed.

Now task 131 is upgrade to Chest Level 7
Task 132 is reach level 75.
Let it run for a while.

Fishing has an Auto Fishing option under Gifts, but it costs $9.99 for 30 days.  That feels typical of app games these days.

Task 134: Obtain 5 magic powder by split.  That's odd, but if you click the words the little hand takes you to the chest, where you click on the icon beneath the new item and the red Sell button turns into a blue Split button.  That's a new thing and it can be automated as before -- you can sell all unwanted items or split them.

Task 135: Split equipment 5 times.
Task 136: Open 60 treasure chests
Task 137: Obtain 30 magic powder by split
Task 138: Split 10 pieces of equipment
Task 139: Obtain 2 life crystals by split.  Well, I ran about 50 chests and got none.  The description of Life Crystal says "Chance to obtain when split equipment with full magic".  I see an occasional pink/purple crystal but not the red one I need.  Okay, got one, I guess they're rare.
Task 140: Obtain 2 mana crystals by split.  Yup, those are the purple ones.
Task 141: Sell 50 pieces of equipment
Task 142: Activate any equip's enchantment once. Got it.  It takes 2 of each crystal and some gp.  Gave a power core, whatever that is.
Task 143: Level up to Lv 80.  Gives a crystal voucher.  I let it run for a while and did more adventure levels to get 45 chests each time.  Getting from level 79 to 80 takes 1725 xp.

Task 144: Reach Level 100.  Well that's disappointing, another 8000 chests I suppose.  I don't think there's much left to unlock anyway.  World Boss 10,11,12 unlock at level 90.  I don't see many players over about level 103.

I can't see playing this game for much longer.  I just wanted to get through the steps to unlock and describe all the pieces.  But it's a solid game, well constructed and balanced, with the main highlight being the Fishing area.
